  5. BEFORE YOU CAN USE THIS, YOU HAVE TO READ THIS !!
  6.  
  7. (You MUST add the file "bulletins.backfile" and "bulletins.intro"
  8. to the "send" folder for MUBBS.)
  9.  
  10. This prints a file "backwards". It simply looks for the character
  11. "~" somewhere in the file that marks the "end" of your data.
  12.  
  13. The idea is to use it as a "backwards" bulletin printout. You add
  14. new bulletins to a file at the END. Any previous bulletins need to
  15. have the "~" character at the end of them.
  16.  
  17. When the user logs in, he gets the bulletins in backwards order, and
  18. can press cancel when he gets to what ever he has already read !
  19.  
  20. This module has other applications as a "NEWS" file send that shows
  21. your latest system or "world" news in backwards order.

  23. You can DUPLICATE this module and RENAME it to whatever you like. The
  24. current name is "bulletins" and so it uses the files named
  25. "bulletins.backfile" and "bulletins.intro" to do its work.

  27. If you named it "joe", it would use the files "joe.backfile" and
  28. "joe.intro" to do its work.

  30. The file "bulletins.intro" is just simply sent as is EVERY time the
  31. module is called. You can say things like "bulletins, press C to
  32. cancel" in this file.

  34. The files it uses MUST be in the "send" folder.

  36. Install this by copying it to your "modules" resource file using
  37. ResEdit. Rename and renumber it as you wish.

  43. Text for EACH "bulletin" must be limited to 4K (the WHOLE file can be
  44. as LARGE as you want). It needs to see a "~" character each 4K. If
  45. not the text WILL be cut off ! (actually 4096 characters)

  49. You don't have to put a "~" at the START or END of the file.
